Margie Zohn

I have coached leaders worldwide for the past 25 years, and I have designed and led hundreds of programs for the corporate and nonprofit sectors. For the past 6 years I have held a faculty appointment at Harvard University teaching public speaking.

Business and Academia.

I have worked with organizations including McKinsey & Company, American Express, Capital One, GE, Google, Fidelity, Mitre, Wellington Management, The Federal Reserve, Time Warner and Biogen Idec, and I’ve taught at Executive Education Programs including Harvard, Columbia, MIT, Duke, Northwestern and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. I have also led multiple programs at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Graduate School of Education, Boston University, Emerson College and New England Conservatory.

I am a consultant with the Leadership Development Institute of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies. I have also coached leaders from The Samaritans, Future Chefs, The Achievement Network, Inspiring Educators and many others. My pro bono work includes serving as Chair of the Resource Advisory Committee for Journey To Safety, a domestic abuse program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services. I have also worked with the Big Sister Association and the Make A Wish Foundation.

In a prior life (or was it two lifetimes ago?) I was a professional actor, and performed with Shakespeare & Company, The Lyric Stage, The Merrimack Repertory Theatre, and Anna Deveare Smith’s Institute On The Arts And Civic Dialogue at the American Repertory Theater. I also performed in improvisational theatre and created one woman shows—a very fertile training ground for the work I do now! I still love to coach playwrights, solo performers and actors, and I have developed and directed numerous projects for performance at venues in the US and abroad.

I earned a B.A. from Brown University and an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have also completed post-graduate training in executive coaching and organizational development. At Harvard University, I have been recognized for Excellence In Teaching from The Derek Bok Center every semester I have taught.

I look forward to hearing from you!
