Margie Zohn

I have coached leaders worldwide for the past 25 years, and I have designed and led hundreds of programs for the corporate and nonprofit sectors. For 10 years I held a faculty appointment at Harvard University teaching public speaking, and I hired, trained and mentored all incoming instructors as the program quadrupled in size. My course was among the most sought out and highest rated at the college. I also served coaching and training clients across the university, and developed several innovative programs that were offered year after year. Based on student evaluations, I was recognized for excellence in teaching by Harvard’s Derek Bok Center for every semester I taught.

Business and Academia.

I have coached with organizations including Wellington Management, The Boston Consulting Group, Google, American Express, Capital One, GE, Con Edison, McKinsey, Fidelity Investments, The Federal Reserve, Time Warner and Biogen Idec. I’ve taught at Executive Education Programs including Harvard, Columbia, MIT, Duke, Northwestern and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. I have also designed programs for Harvard Business School, Harvard Graduate School of Education, MIT, Boston University, Emerson College and New England Conservatory.

Nonprofits.

For seven years I served as a consultant with the Leadership Development Institute of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies. I have also coached leaders from The Samaritans, Future Chefs, The Achievement Network, Inspiring Educators and many others. My pro bono work includes serving as Chair of the Resource Advisory Committee for Journey To Safety, a domestic abuse program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services. I have also volunteered with the Big Sister Association and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Theatre.

As a professional actor I performed with Shakespeare & Company, The Lyric Stage, The Merrimack Repertory Theatre, and Anna Deveare Smith’s Institute On The Arts And Civic Dialogue at the American Repertory Theater. I also performed in improvisational theatre and created one woman shows. I still coach performers and speakers on every kind of stage, and I have developed and directed numerous projects for performance venues in the US and abroad. See http://margiezohn.com
